one more heavy hitter on credo, and this time we could even say two tracks that form an ep as strond as the so far most sold credo-release from 2007 - bullet in your heart. the name tells already some connection to australia and indeed the basic idea came up during alex tour down under in fall 2012 where he played three cities within three days and a total of 9h playtime for which he travelled 64h in total. sydney acid is the main track of the ep, no doubt and hard to describe. it is a pure, driven technotrack with a fierce, no blubby, but very powerful acid bassline aiming at riots on the dancefloor. melbourne dub tells exactly what the track is all about and by the way featuring the sound of the local traffic lights that made alex thinking about creating some tracks related to it.
ltd vinyl editon!put you down convinceds with his strong bassline and the harmonic pad melody. def:play, founder of definition:music tryied to make something special, also the cover of the vinyl is associated with much work. lopazz said:the original is one of the biggest tracks

originally produced in 1997, this ep from this chicago producer finally gets a proper release. here he drops four dirty, deep house tracks that are heavy on the samples, loose with the drums, and serious with the dancefloor action.
while fetsum is about to take the us by storm (after a california tour, in march hes going to perform at the sxsw festival in austin and at the pre-oscars party at the villa aurora in la) sonar kollektiv releases four seminal remixes of his song letters from damascus. one of the centre pieces of his current album the colors of hope is not describing the political situation in syria, its more of an autobiographical tale about the golden voiced german-eriteans life.
3rd in the dot series sees a 12 min monster by aubrey, twisting and changing with a dark bass line and strange rhythms, this is one for 5 am on a big sound system.
sweet sweet vocal chicago-house pureness by tevo howard featuring rick poppa howard on vocals, reminding of the early beautiful granville days. a highly emotional and intimate track which the label is honoured to release. labelboss paul du lac on remix duties delivers two stripped-to-the-bone jackin trax for devastating club abuse, one vocal version, one instrumental version.
flying bodies are beta evers and charles kent. they produced only three tracks together of which only one was released on vinyl before. here are the other two tracks. one is a dancefloor smasher and the other one perfect for night drives on the highway... dark, minimal elektro to energize and sooth you. limited to 150 copies.
paradise club recordings are due to serve up another eclectic ep later this month – their first selection of what they have in store for 2013 – and it’s one that furthers the label’s trend of showcasing the many different styles at their disposal from their current roster.label stalwart jabru kicks things off with ‘last days of rome’, an aptly-titled cut that begins by traipsing through ambient swells and looms, only to then brew up a truly decadent, central dancehall rhythm.
the first of two remix discs of ivanos excellent lp. up first are bristol residents outboxx who bring a slick electro vibe to 113. chilled and melodic with a classic sounding b-line, this is one of the best remixes to feature on the label to date. flip for two remixes by roger gerressen, a member of the eshu collective along with mr tetelepta. his 117 remix is a slick house affair again with the b-line very much in the fore. his take on 119 is a much deeper affair, dubbed in its outlook with the melancholic piano stabs of the original a main feature.

jordan peak was one of the break-out artists in the air london family in 2012 and, with our first record of 2013, we bring his debut release on the label. the a1 its time is a trademark peak party starter and comes armed with tempting reworks from fresh belgian newcomers ultrasone as well as a dub from cadenzas argy.
ltd 2013 repress... ah, romanians. doncha just love em. well, it appears that, yes, we very much do here at fof as over the years we seem to have nurtured our fair share of talent haling from those shores and here we are yet again with another bright young thing in the shape of nu zau.pason a dark and trippy early morning ride, haunting pads and vocal snatches really bringing home the heady vibe over the course of its 10 minute running length. de ja vu on the flip acts as a nice counterpoint with its more optimistic outlook - a frisky tech house groover reminiscent of productions from the early days of londons tech house scene, still with an underlying sense of trippiness but one more associated with hot shimmering days spent outdoors than pasons sweatier dark room feel
incl. dj w!ld remix ! supported by:lauhaus, boris werner, nick curly, federico molinari, kabale und liebe, nekes, johnny d, sascha dive, 2000&one, markus fix, dj wild, chris carrier, ilario alicante, martinez, loco dice, mathias mayer, brothers vibe, karotte, tanzmann, matthias kaden, raresh, robert dietz
the weird house music composers from brazil strike again with four slices of spaced-out dance floor sounds. psychedelic is just one of the adjectives that come to mind when hearing brazilian duo colors sound system. on their first single for lovemonk, sao paolo brothers jota wagner and wander a, who call themselves weird house music composers, continue on the path to a higher state of consciousness with four slices of mind-altering disco and house splashed with spacemen 3-like vocals and seventies prog guitars and organs. just listen to the almost eleven minutes of *ar* if you dont believe. or *1974*. or *poeira lunar*, for that matter. the beatless title track is the only one staying under the seven-minute limit, and it is also the last track on the ep, like a much-needed comedown. space is the place, as the great sun ra said.
singular records is back with a brand new ep by the label head himself, marcelus. you will find very deep tracks in this new ep, detroitish grooves and soundscapes. the a side contains two techno cuts, -another way- and -sonic cigars-, perfect for intense techno moments on the floor, and are very disctinctive by the groove and colors the b side is a more atmospheric one, -enlightenment- is the one for special moments full of sweet textures that gives real deepness. and closing the ep, -it s out there-, a deep ambient cut, showing once again the extented tastes and skills from the parisian dj. played by ben klock, dario zenker, rolando, answer code request, conforce, rebekah, nina kraviz etc
spencer parkers work them records reflects his uncluttered attitude to electronic music. regular vinyl shopping to unearth and delight in non-digital gems, energetic tracks from the deepest house to the most ardent techno, all focussed on one thing: the dancefloor. for its fifth release, he has captured one of his current favourites to bring their wide-ranging and organic sounds to the table: pittsburgh track authority.
the trios first and brilliant ep in 2013 follows twelves on argot and uzuri, and is a neat representation of the expansive borders of parkers own record box, taking in the spectrum from driving, bleepy techno to nervous, shuffling bass-driven house.
biosfera is the first electronic conceptual release from oscar mulero available from detroit underground. after twenty years on the road as international ambassador of techno, biosfera marks a return home for mulero. biosfera is comprised of six experimental soundscape compositions each inspired by a different autonomous community in the principality of asturias - the mythical, semi-mountainous region on spains north-west coast. the result is an exceptionally rich aural tapestry of lush spatial environments from one of the worlds foremost techno producers. limited edition sleeves are handmade and unique. design by build™, pressing on brown/yellow marbled vinyl.
as we are beset by the darkest of seasons, let sequencias provide a score to fit the mood. presented in two parts, *hybrid furrows* marks the second transmission of the mysterious healing force project from treviso, italy. the first part is a dense, introspective overture. a ceaseless minor key drone lays the path for deep thrumming gong-like pulse and shuddering percussive textures. a song without a coda, a dream without resolution, it simply dissipates like fog—never revealing it’s center. the second part is similarly monolithic in nature, but crafted more for movement than meditation. it is vicious arpeggiated psychedelia, sharp enough to cut into the deepest recesses of your psyche. both tracks were recorded live in one take. vinyl only.
marco freivogels first solo release provides a fresh direction for this seasoned producer. marco will already be known to those in the techno world for his live project exercise one, with his partner of 10 years ingo gansera.
finally here comes the new vinyl of feierkind records. with the first one the bar has been set very high.nightmare focusing directly on the dancefloor and is an evil techno smasher. to this track no lower one than mike wall does his best with a dark pumping remix!

limited repress edition. due to crazy high demand.one off repress with a printed label. two dusty d.i.y. straight to tape house jams from brooklyns lowlands, by basement producer terekke. music for those unending summer days spent in a sticky smoke-filled haze. over saturated house energy meets voices of paranoia while shifting juno chord changes and a dirtbag 707 drums keep things moving.check!
dinamuzac clues you in: 19 minutes of psychedelic lunacy in one piece on side a named *sanctionism*, two atmospherically diverging electro/breakbeat-tracks processing a variety of tonal influences from the 1980s on side b! all designed with the most trashy analogue and low fidelity sounds possible to create something beyond common sense - this is *lo-fi twinkle* by dinamoe!
myk derill (knotweed, reform, etc.) is one of the most interesting dub-techno artists! here he offers two great tracks of high quality and class. never hard but never soft. the release is completed by a fantastic remix signed by markus suckut (figure spc, sckt, etc.)his remix is a clear reference to the atmosphere of the past, with his usual class! another good step for fluxus records.
after 20 superb 12 inch single releases over five and half years in the game, uk label, 2nd drop, is proud to present its first compilation, future foundations, featuring a mixture of established artists who have graced the label previously, alongside a handful of exciting new acts generating some serious hype on the scene right now. this compilation is the first of many that will bear the future foundations title. we have assigned each 12 inch with a number, *foundation 1, foundation 2* and so on, viewing these chunks of superb music as the foundations of an on-going, multi-layered aural concept that will document the rich and varied output of the label and its artists for the foreseeable future.
detail is 20 year old daniil marin from kiev, ukraine. initially influenced by technical itch, detail has carved out a niche for himself and stepped up his production skills to create world class dnb with dance floor production power. with releases already on c.i.a., proximity and support from noisia, the upbeats, break & klute and forthcoming releases on: symmetry, dispatch, utopia music & demand – detail is definitely a brand new talent soon to be on everyones lips. daniil is also a keen amateur health & fashion photographer and one day hopes to contribute to the readers wives section of fiesta.
in the realm of electronic music australia isnt down under anymore but rather up there: so many fresh new producers pop up now and bell towers - aka melbourne resident roman wafers and one half of the bamboo musik dj team - proves himself one of the most promising ambassadors with his debut on internasjonal.
the latest offering from the balearica imprint featuring more top quality sun-kissed gems. first up is derrick harriots *black skin blue eyed boys*, a fantastic reggae disco cover version of the equals classic originally released on the mega rare *acid rock* lp back in 1982. following this bomb is the funky party killer, david lampells *iranian groove*. the flip side features the exceptionally hard to come by 12 inch version of *praise jah* by trinidadian singer oluko imo that captivates with its predominant funk bassline and inventive keys. finally, we have amadeos hugely in-demand *memories*, a spacey balearic disco groover that has been popping up on many djs most wanted lists ever since it was one of the standouts of harveys brilliant *sarcastic disco mix*. wonderful stuff!
tropics a.k.a. chris ward first appeared on planet mu last year, following up two eps with the album parodia flare. commended by pitchfork for his lush soundscapes and hazy pop, whats clear with tropics is that he listens to a lot of dance music and he cares about production values. the synth and beat programming is as competent as anything out there, and he avoids lazy indie stylings and one button bontempi organ beats – his are crafted songs, much of the pleasure lying in his gift for dynamic arrangement, which is a joy amid rafts of useful formulaically assembled house tracks.
in common with the general post-financial collapse vibe there is less sunshine in this ep than before, and he has absorbed something from a year of intensive house music listening, but chris essential qualities remain a forward-looking wistfulness, hope beneath melancholy, something even more acutely needed now than before. oh look! here comes winter.
rhythm and melody, the beat and the bass - thats what proper club music is all about. and with current chihouse revivalists galore, its really hard to come up with something really true to the roots, and brilliantly fresh at the same time. recognition recordings, run steadily by jacek sienkiewicz, polands true visionary of contemporary club beats in a world of post-techno, passes its 30th release with this four-track marvel of an ep by one chino
since tobi kramer rocked the format b remix contest he has been basking in the brilliance of his remix for socks and sandals. it is no surprise that the two label bosses wont let go of this young man from lower saxony, though one searching for reasons need look no further than his formatik debut ep eye patch.
sugar jim jr.: dj, founder, event manager, movine gu.nther (one part of tricky fixinf), head of it all. this man knows what works in the club, has also built a few dance temples with his own hands. awesome dude! music wise? very simple. deephousedisco & 6 a.m. euphoria!
tadd mullinix aka james t. cotton aka j.t.c. is one of our true heroes. when we had our hands on the first records of his on spectral we immediately fell in love with his daring approach to club music. raw sketches of great ideas – not clean, not cool, but human and deficient, singular and alive. so, signing this artist for our label is a great honour to us, and we are proud to present sonic criminal to you, an ep crossing over classic detroit techno, deep house, jazz and electro. amazing!
limited edition transparent blue vinyl pressing.

label boss, dj spider links up with analog guru, phil moffa! these two analog junkies have put together a crushing 4 track split effort. the first 3 tracks are strictly for the dance floor and the last one is a deep, mental piece! they each delivered one track each and two tracks were done together. warm analog drums with pure synth soundscapes are on display here from beginning to end. a must have for all true, underground soldiers who support new york techno!
his album debut - timez are weird these days was one the most exciting releases of 2011, shortly after, the trinidad born us rapper and producer appeared on the biggest music- and lifestyle magazines including spin, the nme, rolling stone, billboard, vogue, maxim, village voice, gq
wrong state recordings is seen as one of the labels to closely watch out for in 2013.no doubt it will be referred to in the international arena given its high qualityreleases of some of the most exclusive deep and organic sounds of tech-house.
iban reus is on a roll, putting out several crackers on labels such as work, toolroom and this great ep on witty tunes. heavyweight remixer david herrero did an outstanding job on the vinyl. supported by 2000 and one, richie hawtin, paco osuna, mark knight, dj madskillz
young belgian producer locked groove (aka tim van de meutter) cements an increasingly central role in the hotflush family fold with the release of the two part heritage ep. since his debut on the label, tim has propagated what he himself has termed 100% house and techno, combining elements of the big room, the deep and moody and straight up four-to-the-floor both into the space of a single track, and across the length of an ep. taking a marked step on from last years rooted and keep it simple eps, heritage pursues a joining of musical dots between and beyond classic house and techno, from the kerri chandler-esque house of *wear it well* through the epic landscaping of *lost* to *dream within a dream* blade runner beach party. in this collection, the young producer delivers two sets of three outstanding, genre-straddling tracks that further help to bolster hotflushs legacy as one of the most forward-thinking labels operating in 2013.
last year kyodai dropped breaking, which to date is the biggest selling release on local talk. now the brothers are back with in our opinion a future house anthem. the scene is a classic piano house cut that’s impossible to resist and together with one the coolest vocal samples we’ve ever heard we think this has the potential to go really big. when the breakdown drops we’re pretty sure everybody in the club will chant. but as if this was not enough we also got another big tune on the b-side. moving is the continuation of “breaking” and goes along the same lines with its crossover jazz styled house. once again kyodai delivers a supa solid house production with large jazz breakdowns and old school vocals that’s right up their with ”breaking”. this is also why we called it…breaking pt.2. kyodai is currently working on their debut album for local talk which is due later this year. they’re also travelling around the world with their amazing live dj set that we highly recommend. trust us when we say that these two brothers really now how to turn up the heat in a club…serious biz!
as the london & berlin based somethinksounds imprint approaches a tenth release since its inception in 2010 we have learnt that although you can never be too sure of what they are going to serve up next, you can be sure its going to be of the highest quality. whether it be unearthing exquisitely produced idm by lucky paul, future house sounds from rising stars such as eliphino and ossie (black orange juice) or straight up club bangers by some of the biggest hitters in the game (gadi mizrahi of wolf + lamb), this time they deliver what could be one of the most infectious vocal drops of 2012 on artifacts sensational double a-side the way it do/we trapped.
fluxus is danny scrillas first transmission for civil music and the munich based producers second release. following on from 2012s flash powder ep for om units cosmic bridge label, *fluxus* sees scrilla in expected fine form, and takes in four original neck snapping instrumental tracks plus two remixes from japans deep medi member goth-trad and london producer and one to watch deft. on fluxus scrillas productions run at 80-90bpm / 160-180 bpm exploiting slowfast halftime tempos yet are seemingly engineered from the sonic essence of 06 og dubsteps dark sparse dreadnought sounds, with waves of quaking bass growing under iced-out percussion accentuated by toiling snares. floating chords and hypnotic melodies drive skeletal riddims, sci-fi synthlines arc over the spacious heavyweight ruffage built for towering stacks and pitch black rooms.
sampler 2 kicks off with scbs dissipate, a gritty 4/4 number thats been driving dancefloors crazy with its seemingly constantly ascending intro. this is definitely one of scbs finest productions to date and hugely sought after by his followers. basic soul unit provides the aa side, hot off the back of his debut nonplus 12 he continues in the same vein with untoward. this is heads down techno of the finest quality and this time hes thrown some acid into the equation which bubbles and brews into a monster of a track.
fold cut his production teeth as one-half of the much lauded london deep house outfit homepark. his first solo release to date, this ep reflects folds extensive knowledge of house and feeling for the dancefloor. a-side slime perfectly fuses driving staccato percussion with classic deep house warmth. moving patterns is a more laidback affair combining soaring vocals with an irresistible bassline that harks back to the early days of jungle. the ep is a given a special twist by an unforgettable technofied remix of slime from fellow londoner ethyl.
